I've helped many students through Cambridge Maths admissions during my degree. I worked on a residential at my college for state school students, supporting them with STEP questions and preparation, and I've given practice interviews for Cambridge Maths to five students as well as reviewing their personal statements. Many students I've tutored are those who need extra help to pass GCSE maths, and I've been able to support and encourage them to do exactly that. I've supported many students with SEND, providing tailored and engaging sessions suited to their individual needs. I am kind and supportive, and what I aim to provide for all students, alongside the mathematical knowledge, is the confidence that they are also good at maths — and that they can enjoy it.

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals — whether that's a STEP grade, exam preparation or a wider grade target — and I provide personalised study materials and revision notes. I've tutored for over two years with strong reviews, including teaching maths and physics to 16–19s as a residential tutor at an Oxbridge summer school, alongside private tutoring for GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate courses such as mathematical analysis. My own background includes winning multiple national mathematics competitions and achieving A*A*A*A*-equivalent grades in the Polish A-Level system (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, English and Polish Literature), with top marks at GCSE-equivalent level too. STEP rewards months of consistent, structured practice, and I help students build exactly that.

I attended a specialist maths high school focused on problem-solving, and I work patiently and consistently until things click. I prepare students for STEP and the TMUA alongside A-Level and GCSE maths, and I love showing them that the hardest problems become approachable with the right mindset.

I've been a self-employed tutor since Year 12, teaching Maths and Further Maths at GCSE and A-Level, which has taught me to notice what a student is really struggling with and pace lessons around it. I sat the TMUA myself, scoring around 7.0 — the same reasoning-under-pressure that STEP demands in written form — and I build sessions around structured, patient practice with unfamiliar problems.

During several years' experience mentoring and teaching, I've supported prospective Oxbridge applicants through mock interviews and delivered Cambridge-style supervisions on summer schools, helping students develop both subject knowledge and confidence. As a student ambassador for Selwyn College across four years I ran student Q&As and admissions workshops, helped with talks from admissions tutors on what they're looking for in a personal statement or interview candidate, and looked after candidates during the interviews and admissions tests themselves — advising hundreds of applicants along the way. My teaching is inspired by the supervision-style learning I experienced at Cambridge: discussion-based sessions, solving problems together, and marking work with real feedback. I also communicate complex scientific ideas to audiences of all ages, through volunteering with Cambridge Hands On Science and now as a Live Science Presenter at the Royal Observatory Greenwich.
